To fit consumer needs, Eureka biodegradable Vacuum Bags are offered in allergen and HEPA. HEPA media is arranged to allow air to travel through it, but prevent particles from passing through. The fibers in HEPA media are set in a random manner to increase effectiveness. This arrangement is what allows the HEPA fibers in the bag to capture 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns in size. Some of the particles that are captured in these fibers are dust, pet dander, mold spores, bacteria, pollen, and other allergy causing agents.
In order to receive optimum performance from your vacuum and vacuum bags, Eureka recommends that the bags be changed every 30-60 days, depending on use.
