NSS Enterprises, Inc., is an Ohio firm producing floor care equipment. In 1911, a Bissell executive, Julius Bevington, decided to begin producing vacuum motors for a variety of industrial applications. In the 1920s he reached an agreement with the Bissell Company to acquire the vacuum portion of the business, renaming it the National Super Suction Company. NSS revolutionized vacuum cleaner technology, introducing the forerunner of their legendary M-1 "Pig" canister vacuum in 1940.
NSS has produced vacuum cleaners for over 70 years with the first being the infamous M1 industrial vacuum known for its quality and dependability. NSS vacuum cleaners are not disposable, they are made to last up to 10 years with replacement parts and wear items available to consumes.
